Bear Territory Legacy Wall

Are you looking for a way to cement your legacy in California Memorial Stadium and give to Cal Athletics? Now is your opportunity to create your own personal legacy with a ceramic tile on the west wall of the concourse. Make a gift of $750 today to leave your mark.

This is your chance to honor loved ones, recall memories, or share your school pride. Your tile will bear the custom inscription of your choice of 15 character spaces per line, with three lines of customized text per tile. Bear Territory Legacy Wall tiles will be installed on the concourse level of California Memorial Stadium along the historic west wall, between the North Tunnel and the South Tunnel.

Each one-time gift of $750 will be commemorated with a personalized tile. Your tile will recognize your generous donation and meaningful gift that directly supports our 875 student-athletes in all of our 30 athletic programs.

Please note that donations for tiles are tax-deductible, but may not be used toward seat donations for football and/or basketball season tickets.

Visit Give.Berkeley.edu/legacywall to leave your legacy!

Discretionary Funding for Cal Football and Cal Men’s Basketball

When you make a gift to Cal Athletics, you provide operational and discretionary support to our 30 athletics programs and 875 student-athletes.
Cal Athletics Fund staff initially concentrate on fundraising each sport’s annual fund. Our annual budgets cover an athletic program’s daily, operational expenses such as (but not limited to): gear, food, travel and much more.

At this time, we are also raising discretionary funds for our Cal football and men’s basketball programs. If you would like to support our football and men’s basketball discretionary funds in order to provide any additional material or experience that will benefit our football and men’s basketball student-athletes, please make your gift online or call the Cal Athletics Fund at (510) 642-2427.

“I’d like to thank you for providing me with the opportunity to study at the University of California, Berkeley. Not only will I receive a degree from one of the best universities in the world and wear the blue and gold uniform with pride, but the experiences and the people I’ve met will also have a positive impact on my development as I prepare for life after college. Thank you and GO BEARS!”

Berkeley By The Numbers

The average G.P.A of admitted freshmen to Cal is 4.19. Our student-athletes don’t cut corners. Their academic performance fuels their admissions criteria just as much as their athletic skills.
