Scholarship Banquet
The annual Scholarship Banquet is held to recognize contributors of athletic named scholarships and the student-athletes receiving those scholarships. We have been hosting this event for the past ten consecutive years. This dinner provides our donors an opportunity to hear and see firsthand the impact their financial support has on our student-athletes lives and gives our student-athletes a chance to connect and talk about their life at Cal with the donors that support their scholarship.
Annual Thank You Luncheon
The Annual Thank You Luncheon celebrates the philanthropy of those who make our athletic programs possible. This prestigious event is open to all Cal Athletics Fund members who have donated a minimum of $1,200 (Golden C Club level) in the prior fiscal year,* the annual luncheon features a program honoring the generosity of Cal Athletics donors with keynote speakers and recognition awards.
To ensure you receive an invitation to next fiscal year’s thank you luncheon, please make a gift today.
*Our fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30 of the following year. Donors who give at least $1,200 between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022 (Fiscal Year 2022) will be invited to next year’s luncheon hosted in April 2023.
Parent Open House
The Cal Athletics Parent Open House hosted in early-August for parents of incoming freshman and transfer student-athletes is an opportunity for parents to learn about Cal Athletics and connect with the Cal Athletics parent community and athletics staff. Programming includes remarks by Jim Knowlton, our Director of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of California, Berkeley.
